Currently, I’m a Lead Architectural Consultant for WSP where I have provided design and management services for large clients such as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and the United States Postal Service (USPS). As the Washington D.C. studio lead, my role has been to supervise the production of construction drawings and specifications, attend client meetings to define project scope,
review construction RFIs and submittals, facilitate multi-discipline coordination and accuracy, review design budgets, prepare change orders, conduct on-site field surveys, and egress/code review. I’ve also had the privilege of managing and mentoring architectural staff, fostering their professional growth, promoting collaboration, and altogether strengthening team synergy.
USPS Vehicle Maintenance Facilities
The project is a nationwide fleet electrification initiative that includes the installation of EV charging infrastructure alongside comprehensive facility upgrades. The upgrades include ADA improvements, door and lighting replacement, new interior and exterior finishes, and vehicle lift replacement with structural slab reinforcement.
For the past two years, I have led the architectural design and technical oversight for the modernization of more than 100 facilities, ensuring compliance with ADA requirements, federal regulations, and local building codes. I’ve overseen the preparation and delivery of as many as 20 sites weekly in various design phases, balancing scope and schedule while guiding teams through accelerated timelines and evolving client needs.
I have led client meetings to help define project goals; established internal team structures, procedures, and QA/QC standards to improve clarity and reduce errors; and managed budget reviews and the preparation of design mod proposals to account for added scope requested by the client.
In addition to project delivery, I’ve mentored and supported a team of 13 architectural staff, implementing workflows and collaborative processes that strengthen communication, increase efficiency, and elevate the overall quality of our work.

WMATA 4 Mile Run Bus Garage
WMATA launched the Better Bus: Bus Garage Modernization Program as part of a district-wide initiative aimed at modernizing facilities and advancing electrification efforts, transitioning from traditional fuel sources to support a fleet of battery-electric buses. Existing bus maintenance garages were evaluated and identified for upgrades, including the implementation of sustainable features to improve operational efficiency and provide
a modernized working environment for staff. The Four Mile Run facility was assessed but determined not to require extensive upgrades at this time. I contributed to Phase I Existing Conditions documentation for state-of-good-repair assessments, assisting with on-site field surveys and performing quality control on the architectural drawings.
